Installation of the Organ, Font, and Communion Table inside Lynsted Church

Provision of an organ in Lynsted Church - 1842

Inscription found in the Parish Register (the handwriting was sometimes difficult to read!):-

An organ was erected in the Church June 13, 1842 by the Voluntary Subscriptions of the Parishioners and others at a cost of £117.10.0

A Handsome Stone Font with Oak Cover and Oak Rails was presented to the Parish by Colonel Charles Henry Tyler of Lynsted Lodge.
December the Sixth 1845.


A Handsome Carved Oak Communion Table was presented to the Parish by Samuel Creed Fairman Esq 1856
