The routine is set, but sadly we think there are now only 7 chicks in view. If that is true, then Blodwyn will have have taken the dead chicks a long way from the nest to avoid leaving clues for predators. Even after such a short time, there is a noticeable "fuzz" on the top of these chicks' heads
