How many times have we looked through a box of family photographs only to find that we do not know the identity of the people in them?  Usually this happens when it is too late to ask anyone the question and history is lost.

People in the Parish of Lynsted with Kingsdown have said that they are concerned that the same could happen to the history of our community.  Take a look at the images below.  These are pictures from our Parish - do you know their story?

Wouldn’t it be a good idea to have a focal point for the capture of information to celebrate things of importance to our Parish?

Well, now is your chance to be a part of this.

The Lynsted with Kingsdown Society was established on 26th November 2003 and membership is open to all who have an interest in the Parish.  You may live in the Parish, or maybe you were born here but have moved away. What better way of keeping in touch with the community and old friends?

I do hope that you will become a member and help us in our various projects, or join us in our social events.
