Having driven to the Kingsdown area, the first thing we saw was evidence of a 6 metre wide corridor of tree planting. Mixed deciduous woodland.
The soil is too flint-laden to plough - perhaps a legacy of the M2 building traffic that may have driven the soil down through the flints.
