William Coste, obt. 1505 - what is remarkable, he devised by the name of Sir William Coste, vicar of Linsted, to Joane his wife, all his lands, &c. as therein mentioned - the will was proved Dec. 18, 1505, in Prerog. off. Cant.

 

Christopher Pashley, A.M. April 28, 1589, obt. 1612 - and vicar of Tenham

 

Edward Hirst, S.T.B. August 1, 1612, obt. 1618 - and vicar of Tenham

 

Francis Fotherby, A.M. September 14, 1618, sequestered 1649 - and also vicar of St. Clements, Sandwich. See White’s Century, p.4. Walkers Suff. of the Clergy, pt.ii. p.244, 266.

 

Henry Eve, S.T.P. obt. March 4, 1685 - And vicar of Tenham. He lies buried in the chancel of this church

 

William Wickens, A.M. obt. Sept. 6 1718 - and rector of Ealing, where he lies buried.

 

Charles Sturgis, A.M. Oct. 29, 1718, resigned 1729

 

John Irons, A.M. August 7, 1726, obt. Nov. 1766 - he lies buried in this church

 

Henry Shove, A.M. Nov. 14, 1766 - He resigned this vicarage for the rectory of Little Mongeham, as he did that afterwards for the vicarage of Doddington
