The use of yellow stock bricks is widely reflected throughout this and neighbouring parishes. Very similar design can be found on the lower road of Teynham towards the railway. Yellow stock brick reflects the strong links between the brickfields that are found between Faversham and Rainham. Teynham's modern history is closely tied with that industry that continues today.
