Archiving Principles

A simple summary of our guiding principles

Site Last Updated
13th January 2012

This Society brings a focus to the combined knowledge and enthusiasm of the Parishioners of Lynsted with Kingsdown identified through a questionnaire.

Members of the Society between them have a vast range of books and other research material together with original research.

The images recorded on this site are only a selection of what we have. The larger body of images and documents will be put on CDROMs so that the Society Members, the local school, and those who use our library can benefit from the Society’s efforts.

We are also creating an overview of some key dates (Time Line) relevant to the development of our Parish and some “slices in time” from census data - but we are always looking for more.
