Friday, 1st March | The Olympics - by the Chairman of the Olympic Association, Sir Hugh Robretson (before he starts working towards the Paris 2024 Olympics). Please Note this is on Friday. |
27th March | Making Deep Cuts: Medieaval and post-medieaval Barber/Surgeon (with some of the surgical tools). A presentation by David Lamberton. |
20th April | Society Quiz Night - Lloyd Bowen, quizmaster. More to follow. |
18th May | Jazz Evening with the Andy Bennett Quintet. More to follow. |
29th June | 10.30am: Walking Tour of Faversham with Bob Baxter who is a Faversham Society Guide. On a Saturday morning and costing £5 per head. |
25th September | Sue Lamberton talk about London Silkewomen and post-Black-Death girl power. |
23rd October | Islands of the Medway Estuary - Adam Taylor will describe the once inhabited islands, their history, flora and fauna, with abandoned forts and a German submarine! |
27th November | Newington - A Roman Service Station by Sue Flipping |
