who departed this life September 13th 1818
aged 25 years.
Farewell sweet shade whose gentle virtues wave
around thy parent hearts a net of love.
Who through thy blameless life and lone disease
were always pleased and never failed to please.
Heaven saw thy worth although so young in years
and snatched His favourite from this vale of tears.
Also MARY ANN DENCE
grand daughter of the above JOHN and MARY DENCE
departed this life January
24 1818 aged 6 years and nine months.
Kind angels guide her sleep dust
‘til Jesus come to raise the Just.
Then may she wake with sweet surprise
and in her Saviours image rise.
